Who comes out when you ring
Locksmith Santa Pola is a mobile locksmith working from Santa Pola, with the phone answered in English and Spanish and 22 years of locksmith work behind it. No shop counter: the van comes to the door.
How the work is done
Most of what a locksmith does here is undramatic: a cylinder worn by salt, a slider that has dropped, a door pulled shut on the keys. The way it is handled is what makes the difference to the person waiting outside.
- On the phone, you are asked where you are and what the lock is doing, and told honestly how long the drive looks. No minute is promised that cannot be kept.
- At the door, the lock is looked at, the options explained and the price agreed with you before any work begins.
- On the door, opening through the lock comes first. Drilling only when there is no other way, and only with your agreement.
- Before opening, you are asked to show you live there or may go in. It protects you as much as anyone.
- At the end, you pay by cash, card or Bizum, once you have checked the door works.

- Cutting, copying or duplicating keys of any kind
- Spare keys for homes, gates, garages, mailboxes or padlocks
- Car keys: no cutting, supplying, replacing or programming
- Transponder chips and vehicle remote controls
- Ignition barrels and ignition switches
- Keys for motorbikes, scooters or vans
With cars, the work is limited to opening a locked vehicle: what the car lockout service covers. Alarms and cameras are for an authorised security installer.
